Practice profile
Keith Summers
· Qualified architect 10 years
· RIBA, ARB, Principal Architect
Prior to forming MSA in 2000, studied in Birmingham and Kingston-upon-Thames, subsequently working in
a private practice based in the Midlands prior to, and after, qualifying. Finalist in the Gradus Detailed Design
Awards in London. Keith oversees all of MSA work and works closely with clients on specific projects developing
a full range of disciplines for both private and commercial projects on large scale schemes and smaller bespoke
private commissions.
Meaghan Carroll
· Secretary
After leaving school having gained full compliment of G.C.S.E’s Meaghan continued her higher education at
Warrington Collegiate studying a BTEC National Diploma in Sport and Science. After completing her education
Meaghan joined JST Lawyers as part of their Re-Mortgage team where she homed her administrative abilities
in a fast paced pressured environment. Deciding to embrace a new challenge Meaghan joined Munro Summers
Architects in September 2006 and quickly established as an integral member of our team.
Alice Mason
· Practice Manager
· MSc.
Comes from the Czech Republic and joined MSA in July 2005 whilst finishing her studies. Now holds two
Masters of Science gained abroad in Economics & Management (the Czech Republic) and also in Marketing &
Consumer Studies (the Netherlands), which brings different approaches to business, procedures and efficiency.
Since the day one, she improved internal system to increase productivity and efficiency, cashflow and speed
of internal communication and documents retrieval. With her approach to quality management and support of
all employees, she gained for MSA ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification and studying support for all staff from
third parties.
Ron Harrison
· Architectural Technician
· HNC
Holds a Higher National Certificate in Building Studies and has worked as an Architectural Technician since
studying Architecture at John Moores University, Liverpool.
Joined MSA in April 2005 and produces planning drawings and detailed construction drawings for Local
Authority approval. Enjoys the challenge of solving problems in the design process and also produces high
quality 3D images and computer visualisations for sales and marketing purposes.
Paul Turner
· Architectural Technician
· HNC
Holds a Higher National Certificate in Building Studies and has worked as an Architectural Technician since
studying Building Science at Her Majesty’s Royal School of Military Engineering, the British Army’s Centre of
Excellence for Military Engineering.
Joined MSA in November 2003 and produces planning and detailed construction drawings for Local Authority
approval. Enthusiastic about his work and produces a high standard of drawings and images with a smile.
William Murphy
· qualified RIBA Part II architect
· BA in Architecture, BArch, Liverpool University
Studied Architectural Technology at Limerick Institution of Technology and qualified with a diploma in
Architectural Technology and a degree in Material Science from Herriot-Watt University
Joined MSA in June 2007, previously I have worked for practices both in Ireland and the northwest of England
on projects ranging in scale from bespoke houses to offices in rural and urban contexts. I also teach 1ST year
design and lecture at Liverpool University.
Joseph McDonagh
- Qualified RIBA Part III Architect
- BA in Architecture, BArch
Studied architecture at Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and University of Liverpool and recently qualified
as RIBA Part II architect. Gained experience in several offices of varying sizes both in Ireland and the
Northwest of England.
Joined MSA in July 2006 and works closely with the principle architect and the rest of the MSA team to design
and produce drawings for small and medium sized developments. Uses CAD as well as the more traditional
pencil and paper to develop ideas and produce planning and construction drawings. Enjoys collaborating
with clients to realise design concepts and looks forward to the frequent challenges that emerge during the
expansion of this enthusiastic young practice. |
